Its owner and president David C. Shannon, Jr. formed Centurion in 2014 upon the wind down of WSH Land, Inc. a land services firm that David was the president and owner of since 1999. For over 25 years in the land services industry, David and the management team of Centurion have demonstrated long-term proven project success through its multiple repeat clients. Centurion offers a comprehensive portfolio of land management, field land services, and project management across the domestic United States. Centurion is anchored by a management team that continuously demonstrates the knowledge and skills demanded by our clientele in providing successful on-time and on-budget services.

Our management team has shared experiences in a broad range of land-related services, and has amassed an impressive clientele, including Energy Companies, Pipeline Companies, Telecommunications Companies, Public Utilities, Law Firms, Commercial Real Estate Groups, and Investment Banking Entities, with combined experience of over 200 years, Centurion's core management team is the central constant that orchestrates the success of each project our firm selects.

Our ever-growing roster of landman, right-of-way agents and support staff have all been recruited for their demonstrated proficiency in each of their professional disciplines. These capabilities are complimented by an in-house support staff offering GIS and project-specific mapping, and related project support services.

ENERGY
Centurion has managed oil and gas projects in virtually every major producing basin of the lower 48 states. From prospective area lease checks to mineral ownership reports, to lease acquisition, to sovereignty title runs, to curing title for drilling wells, Centurion has project managers and field landmen to handle any client’s needs. We can configure any reporting method as specified by the client, whether it is by the implementation of a data base or conforming documentation in either Word or Excel spreadsheet format. In addition, Centurion has in-house GIS mappers with the ability and experience to tie any such reporting method to project specific maps.

Centurion offers an expertise and prior experience which allows us to offer clients the option of having Centurion act as Lead Contractor for multi-discipline projects, while still understanding that no matter what size the project, our focus remains fixed towards successful project completion. Complementing the various disciplines listed below is an in-house GIS staff, prepared to generate project maps to the client’s specifications.
PROJECT SOLUTIONS
Centurion’s management team has a diverse background in professional project management and can provide clients with expertise and experience in a broad range of areas including from upstream and midstream acquisitions and divestitures, in-house project management, solving real property title issues, project land solutions in the energy and telecommunication arena. Our team has managed projects with budgets in tens of millions of dollars, and been involved in due diligence efforts for billions of dollars (U.S.) worth of assets, from both an in-house and/or field perspective. We are experienced in providing short and long term staffing solutions for in-house positions.
GIS MAPPING
Centurion has in-house GIS mappers with the knowledge and experience to generate scalable project maps that are tailored to each client’s specifications. The mapping staff is able to tie any reporting methods to project specific maps. Centurion‘s mapping department utilizes state-of-the-art software, such as ArcView, and is prepared to create, update, or manipulate any map to meet the client’s project needs.
